# Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Kansas

Start Date: August 25, 2026

Location: Wichita, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; Patient ratios averaging 3:1 (low acuity 5:1, pediatric team nursing)

• 52-bed Emergency Department with well-staffed shifts including charge nurse, physicians, and midlevel providers per pod
• High-volume, fast-paced environment with diverse patient population including pediatric and adult emergency cases
• EMR system: Meditech/CPN with Alaris equipment
• Travel assignment at a large, established acute care facility
• Collaborative team of 134 experienced ED staff members with supportive shift structure
• Comprehensive scope of practice including IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and pediatric care

• Current RN license in Kansas or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Emergency Department experience required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications required
• ENPC certification preferred
• Meditech experience strongly preferred
• Experience traveling to large facilities or high-volume areas preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency environment with strong critical thinking skills
