# Job Opportunity – PACU Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** September 11, 2026**Location:** San Antonio, Texas**Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants**Schedule:** Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM (night shift). No on-call required. 24/7 coverage model with 1 nurse in-house and second nurse for night cases on call.**Highlights:**- 18-bay adult Post-Anesthesia Care Unit with established team of 25 staff members- Patient ratios: 1:1 for first 30 minutes or ICU level of care; 2:1 when stable- Meditech Magic EMR system- Navy scrubs provided- No floating to other units- Growing night shift program with dedicated staffing**Requirements:**- Active RN license eligible for Texas- Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required- ICU level of care competency required- ACLS and BLS certifications required- CPAN or TCAR certification preferred**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This position offers the chance to join a well-established PACU team committed to providing high-quality post-operative care in a supportive environment.
