UNC Rex Digestive Health has been providing exceptional high-quality gastroenterology care to patients in the Raleigh/Eastern, NC area for more than 50 years. It is one of the most advanced gastroenterology practices in the area.\n\nPosition Features:\n\n\n Procedures Required:EGD, colonoscopy, push enteroscopy, Video capsule endoscopy reading, ERCP is preferred but not required\n Procedure Volume: Average range of 8-12 per day\n Structure:HOPD cases followed by inpatient cases. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.\n Licensure/Certification Requirements:\n ● Board Certified in Gastroenterology\n ● DEA;ACLS;MD\n Professional Experience Requirements:\n ● Prefer prior hospitalist experience.\n Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:\n ● Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.\nREASONING ABILITY\nHigh-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients.\nCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS\nNorth Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred.
