Marketing Assistant

Michael Best is seeking a Marketing Assistant to assist the members of the Marketing and Communications team with day‑to‑day administrative activities and will assist with events and special projects as needed. What You'll Be Doing Maintain and update the firm’s external website working in conjunction with the BD and Creative teams for content. Creation and first draft of e‑mail marketing communications including client alerts and announcements. Assist with the preparation and promotion of podcasts. Maintain awards and accolades support, deadlines, and data entry. Assist with the firm’s ongoing digital technology maintenance related to CRM, SEO, and other digital marketing projects. Help with proofing external communications including proposals, press releases, pitches, invitations, announcements, client alerts, etc. in addition to formatting assistance (e.g., text changes, pagination, formatting, etc.). Review and update social media calendar, coordinate assets needed, and post to Social Media Channels. Support the events team with drafting email marketing invitations, assisting with pre‑event preparation (name tag and material development), event set up, greeting guests, etc. Update the firm’s intranet with marketing and business development related items. Meeting & scheduling assistance for internal team meetings. Other day‑to‑day special projects as assigned. Job Requirements 1 – 3 Years of experience Well‑versed in Word Processing Programs Driven & a team player Organized and detail oriented Ability to multi‑task Highly professional and personable Ability to provide excellent customer service Video editing skills are a plus Location We have offices in Wisconsin (Green Bay, Madison, Milwaukee, Waukesha); Illinois (Chicago); Utah (Salt Lake City); Colorado (Denver, Broomfield); Texas (Austin); North Carolina (Charlotte, Durham, Raleigh, Wilmington); California (Los Angeles); Nebraska (Lincoln); and Washington DC. Benefits Compensation for this position will range from $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience and location.
