About the Role As our Video Editor, you will create high-performing direct-response video ads for DTC e-commerce brands, with a strong focus on UGC, VSLs, and paid social creative across Meta and TikTok. This is a hands-on, AI-first role for an editor who understands that performance creative exists to drive action, not simply look good. You’ll combine strong direct-response instincts with advanced AI workflows to turn briefs and scripts into compelling ads quickly, while continuously improving hooks, pacing, storytelling, and conversion performance. What You’ll Own Create high-performing direct-response video ads across UGC, VSLs, and other paid social formats, with a strong focus on Meta and TikTok. Build compelling hooks within the first seconds of an ad, using visuals, messaging, pacing, and pattern interruption to capture attention and drive viewers into the story. Edit with a clear understanding of the target buyer, translating customer pain points, motivations, objections, and desires into creative choices that make each ad feel relevant. Use AI generation and editing tools extensively throughout the creative process, creating visuals, characters, voiceovers, scenes, and other assets rather than relying solely on traditional editing workflows. Turn scripts and creative briefs into complete performance ads, ensuring strong alignment between the message, visuals, pacing, and intended customer action. Develop efficient AI-powered creative workflows that increase production speed while maintaining a high standard of quality and consistency. Use creative feedback and performance learnings to iterate quickly, strengthen weak sections, develop new variations, and continuously improve output. Work closely with Creative Strategists, Copywriters, and the broader Creative team to translate concepts into compelling, conversion-focused executions. Continuously experiment with new AI tools, techniques, and creative formats, identifying opportunities to improve both the quality and efficiency of creative production. What you Bring Proven hands-on experience creating direct-response video ads for DTC/e-commerce brands, with a strong portfolio demonstrating performance-focused creative work. Deep understanding of direct-response creative, including hooks, pacing, retention, CTAs, buyer personas, and how video creative contributes to conversion. Strong hands-on experience with AI-powered video generation and creative workflows, using tools such as Higgsfield, Kling, Runway, Veo, Seedance, HeyGen, ElevenLabs, or similar platforms. Strong creative judgment, with the ability to recognize high-quality AI output, troubleshoot weak generations, and ensure visuals align closely with scripts and customer messaging. Ability to produce high-quality creative quickly and independently, using AI to increase efficiency without sacrificing attention to detail or performance. A highly proactive, curious, and experimental mindset, with a strong interest in continuously learning new AI tools and improving creative workflows. Fluent written and spoken English, with the ability to understand briefs, scripts, feedback, and customer messaging accurately. Experience with health, wellness, supplements, beauty, skincare, pet wellness, or other performance-driven DTC categories is a strong plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
