Starting from app subscriptions and now with an e-commerce model on top, Lovi has reached $18m ARR and 700,000 downloads worldwide. Extension into hair, makeup, and bodycare comes next, along with higher-LTV models coming as Lovi enters its next phase of growth. About the role We’re looking for a Video Editor with motion design skills and experience generating AI content to join our marketing team. You’ll turn raw footage, UGC, and AI-generated assets into engaging videos for paid advertising, social media, and influencer campaigns, directly contributing to user acquisition and brand visibility. What you'll do Edit short-form videos with strong hooks, clear messaging, and engaging pacing. Turn raw footage and UGC into compelling stories that capture attention and drive action. Create motion graphics, animated typography, transitions, and UI animations to support storytelling and showcase our product. Generate images, video clips, voice-overs, and other creative assets using AI tools, integrating them seamlessly into your edits. Add captions, music, and sound effects, and handle audio cleanup, color correction, and finishing. Adapt videos for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, tailoring each edit to the platform. Create and test variations of hooks, openings, CTAs, and video lengths. Collaborate with the marketing team to refine creatives based on performance data. Explore editing trends, motion techniques, and AI tools to bring fresh ideas and formats to the team. 2+ years of video editing experience in marketing, performance advertising, or digital brands. A strong portfolio featuring short-form ads, UGC, motion graphics, and examples of AI-generated content. Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and CapCut for video editing, motion graphics, and short-form content production. Working knowledge of motion design, including keyframe animation, animated typography, transitions, and basic compositing. Hands-on experience generating AI images and video with tools such as Midjourney, Runway, Sora, or similar platforms. Ability to guide AI outputs through prompting, references, and iteration, maintaining visual consistency and refining assets for production. Strong storytelling skills and a confident sense of pacing, rhythm, composition, and visual hierarchy. Experience editing UGC, including selecting takes, restructuring narratives, and making on-camera delivery feel natural. Solid skills in sound editing, audio cleanup, color correction, and captioning. Ability to work independently, manage multiple edits, and deliver quickly without sacrificing quality. Attention to detail and openness to feedback and frequent iteration. Bonus: experience creating performance creatives for health, beauty, or fitness brands. Plus: experience with Figma and AI voice-over tools.
