Commercial Sales Representative

As a Commercial Sales Representative at Big L Windows and Doors, you will play a key role in driving business by building and strengthening relationships throughout the commercial and residential architectural community. You will manage the full sales cycle for projects you pursue, from identifying opportunities and developing quotes to closing the sale and overseeing projects through completion. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Developing, quoting, selling, and managing commercial window and door projects Prospecting, identifying, and building relationships with members of the architectural community Completing comprehensive review of construction drawings Completing preliminary budget proposals based off window and door takeoff Delivering professional product presentations featuring Marvin products and solutions to architects, designers, general contractors, construction managers, and building developers. Attending trainings and becoming certified by Marvin to present AIA Continuing Education courses Actively pursuing business development with facility managers and owners of institutional properties Plan, coordinate, and host industry events designed to engage targeted audiences Providing product and technical solutions for residential and commercial projects Seeking sales leads from multiple sources, including construction reports provided by the company and manufacturer; local trade publications; industry events; etc. You are someone who has: Experience in consultative, value-based sales involving premium products and working with architectural and design firms. Previous experience in the fenestration, window, or door industry preferred. Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong relationship-building skills Solution-oriented mindset and innovative thinking abilities Excellent organizational skills High-energy, self-directed, professionally confident, and self-motivated Ability to effectively manage priorities, deadlines, and multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to independently plan and manage travel, client meetings, and other activities within an assigned territory to achieve sales goals with limited supervision. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. The compensation for this position is a base salary of $75,000 annually, plus commission. On-target earnings (OTE) are approximately $130,000–$200,000 annually, with actual total compensation varying based on individual and company sales performance.
