Clinical Research Coordinator Lead - Bilingual Spanish/English

Overview The Massachusetts Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (MADRC) at Massachusetts General Hospital is dedicated to understanding and ultimately contributing to the cure of Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders (ADRD). MADRC supports research into the cognitive trajectory of several hundred participants, emphasizing early detection, and provides a training environment for scientists and clinician-investigators. Under the general supervision of MADRC leadership, the Clinical Research Lead is responsible for conducting study visits and managing specific aspects of protocols and policies for the Center’s Longitudinal Cohort Study (the Memory Study). The Lead coordinates all activities of the clinical research study team with minimal guidance, leads compliance, protocol, and design activities, develops study budgets and may assume grant management responsibilities, and trains, orients, allocates work, and assesses competence. Responsibilities Coordinate team activities: train, orient, review, and allocate work. Independently judge suitability of research subjects. Ensure quality control and develop QA/QC systems. Plan, perform, and design statistical analyses. Design research protocols in conjunction with the PI; recommend protocol changes and contribute to writing protocols and manuscripts. File adverse events with the IRB and act as liaison with Research Affairs. Develop study budgets and may assume grant management responsibilities. Education Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study required or graduate diploma preferred. Experience Related post‑bachelor’s degree research experience 3–5 years required. Can accept experience in lieu of a degree: Yes. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to design, prepare, deliver, and evaluate clinical research programs. Ability to prepare and monitor budgets. Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative to introduce innovations. Ability to identify technical and non‑technical problems and develop solutions. Ability to supervise others. Excellent time management, organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of current and developing clinical research trends. Language Bilingual in Spanish & English required. Preferred Qualifications NP/PA or similar clinical degree strongly preferred.
