Operations Lead

Special Projects Manager As a Special Projects Manager, you will support projects from concept to completion, ensuring productive use of limited resources. You’ll implement and maintain organizational programs, review contracts and project cost accounting, and engage in tactical planning with SOF clients and industry partners. Communication will be key to keeping programs on schedule, budget, and quality standards. Responsibilities • Design and manage project plans across the systems development life cycle, identifying critical paths, mitigating risks, and aligning resources. • Review and interpret contracts, ensuring compliance and proper cost accounting. • Facilitate frequent interactions with SOF clients, senior leaders, and industry partners to share progress, risks, and outcomes. • Maintain program schedules and deliverables, ensuring alignment with customer priorities. Qualifications Experience supporting the development and delivery of strategies for business cases in government cyber and IT fields. Experience with forward‑deployed SOF elements. Experience briefing senior leaders and communicating complex issues to diverse stakeholders. Experience with military systems, training, and program or project management. Knowledge of financial operations, cost, schedule, and performance. Ability to prepare and deliver presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint. Ability to develop and maintain a program schedule, including identification of critical path, risk mitigation activities, and resource loading across the entire systems development life cycle. TS/SCI clearance (required). Bachelor’s degree. Nice to Have Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple customers. Highly motivated, dynamic work ethic, and mission‑focused attitude. Master’s degree. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Compensation Salary range is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
