TACO NACO KC is looking for an Assistant General Manager who can lead people, maintain high operating standards, provide excellent hospitality, and help improve restaurant performance.

This is a hands-on leadership position. The Assistant General Manager works closely with the General Manager to develop the team, manage daily operations, maintain food and service standards, and create a restaurant where employees and guests feel well cared for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training
• Coach and develop employees
• Recognize strong performance and address performance concerns
• Lead opening, service, and closing shifts
• Manage team deployment, breaks, and shift readiness
• Monitor food quality, speed, cleanliness, and hospitality
• Resolve guest concerns
• Maintain food safety and workplace standards
• Monitor sales and labor performance
• Help manage inventory, ordering, and food waste
• Complete administrative responsibilities accurately
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and guest experience

TACO NACO KC uses Toast, 7shifts, MarginEdge, and other restaurant technology.

What We're Looking For:

A dependable, organized restaurant leader who communicates professionally, develops people, makes sound decisions under pressure, understands hospitality and restaurant performance, identifies problems, and follows through.

At least two years of restaurant leadership or comparable hospitality management experience is preferred. AGM, Shift Manager, Kitchen Manager, Service Manager, and comparable leadership experience will be considered.

A college degree is not required.

Compensation: Salary ($55,000.00 - $62,000.00)
