With six locations nationwide, TPG Marinas is looking for people who are excited about the marine industry and looking for professional growth.Position Overview: The Regional Facilities Manager will report to the EVP of Marinas and will have a passion for boats and possess a strong mechanical aptitude. The RFM will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks including marina general maintenance, equipment and dock Preventative Maintenance and may include electrical and plumbing repairs.Responsibilities:Dock building/repair/basic carpentry requiredBasic plumbing and/or electrical skills are a plusWillingness to do daily travel to various local marinasWillingness to work weekends in the summer monthsMaintains the marina readiness throughout the season including spring launch and fall close.Water bubblers installation and removal.Turn on/off and blowout of water systems.Launches and retrieves marina workboat as needed to remove river debris and install or retrieve no wake buoys.Perform all General Maintenance & Inspection in the following areas:Plumbing - Piping and water valve installation and repairsElectrical - Knowledge of 120/240 vac, single phase services. To replace/switch 30/50 amp receptacles and circuit breakers.Painting - Marina owned equipmentInspection, Cleaning and Repairs – As needed to support the marina throughout the boating seasonFollow all safety guidelines and work in a safe & efficient manner ensuring the operation and cleanliness of the marina.Develops and maintains effective, friendly, professional working relationships with staff, members, guests and vendors.Records and documents all maintenance activities.Carry out all duties and responsibilities assigned by the General Manager or other members of the leadership team.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious marina experience preferredLicenses and/or certifications in plumbing and electrical work are a plus, not required.Ability to work with limited supervision and work safely around water.Competent computer skills set, and familiarity with the basic operations of Excel and Google Drive.Basic boat handling and trailer driving skills preferredKnowledge and use of basic power tools preferredEvening, weekend and holiday availability required.Availability to travel up to 50% within the region to include Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts.Strong organization and communication skills.Ideal candidate will reside in Rhode Island, Connecticut or Massachusetts.Ability to work on a team and independently.Ability to move into and out of small spaces that may require crouching, kneeling or crawlingAbility to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Able to stand for extended periods and occasionally kneel, stoop, bend and twist in tight areas.Comfortability with ladders and confined spaces is required.
