Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Occupational Therapist license in California (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong understanding of school-based OT best practices, assessments, and interventions
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other therapists
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Capable of managing caseloads and documenting services efficiently

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students referred for occupational therapy services and create individualized intervention plans
• Deliver direct therapy to students addressing fine motor, sensory, and functional skills required for classroom participation
• Consult with classroom teachers, aides, and families to support student progress and generalize skills across settings
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
• Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions, assessments, and outcomes
• Stay up-to-date on current practices and comply with all applicable regulations
