We’re seeking a hands-on sheet metal expert to transform engineered drawings into accurate, flat and formed components using Amada equipment. If continuous improvement, safety, and teamwork are your default settings, you’ll thrive here.

• Interpret work orders to identify the correct materials, programs, and dies for both the Amada laser and brake press.
• Perform equipment setups, install tooling, and load preprogrammed machine instructions; modify parameters to achieve drawing tolerances.
• Program and execute simple bends directly at the machine.
• Diagnose and resolve poor cutting conditions, damaged tooling, and machine alarms.
• Apply process refinements that elevate quality and compress cycle times.
• Deburr parts using both manual and automated equipment to meet quality standards.
• Shake out laser-cut parts and advance them to the next routing operation.
• Operate a forklift and overhead crane to sort and store raw materials safely.
• Collaborate with programmers daily to align on programs and improvements.
• Keep the work area safe and organized through 5S; operate a drill press when needed.

• Strong communicator and dependable teammate.
• Mechanical aptitude with confident blueprint interpretation.
• Math fluency in fractions/decimals and proficiency with measurement tools (caliper, tape measure, micrometer, etc.).
• Comfort tackling undefined problems and shifting priorities as jobs evolve.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• 1+ years on comparable equipment preferred.
• Ability to safely lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Performance criteria: up to two (2) “Inconsistent” ratings on the most recent review may continue in the process; three (3) or more “Inconsistent” ratings are not eligible.
• Any “Unsatisfactory” rating on the most recent review is disqualifying.
• No more than one (1) documented written warning in the last 12 months.
• Final attendance warning status is ineligible.
