Forklift Operator

Olsten Staffing is assisting a local client in Cheraw, South Carolina to find an experienced and eager machine operator with forklift experience to join their growing team!

The machine operator will be responsible for operating production machinery. The machine operator will also operate a forklift as needed to move materials and products throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor production machinery safely and efficiently.
  
• Load and unload materials and move products using a forklift when needed.
  
• Perform basic machine adjustments and monitor equipment for proper operation.
  
• Follow safety and production procedures.
  
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  
• Perform other general production duties as assigned.
  
• Work safely in an environment where exposure to dust is common.
  

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver's license or current forklift certification .
  
• Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience is preferred.
  
• Must be comfortable working around dust and wearing required personal protective equipment.
  
• Ability to lift, stand, walk, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
  
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic are required.
  

Work Environment:
This is a manufacturing environment with regular exposure to dust, machinery, and forklift traffic. Safety equipment must be worn as required.

Pay: $12.50 per hour

Pay Details: $12.50 per hour
