Plant Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities You will be responsible for coordinating and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems. Schedule and oversee repair, modification, and maintenance activities; support the development and review of standard operating procedures. Participate in process safety activities including HAZOPs and FMEAs and act as a site liaison with the corporate process safety group; oversee new equipment installations. Ensure safe work practices are followed by maintenance and operations personnel. Provide technical input on equipment lifecycle and new equipment purchases. Coordinate material and equipment movement, contribute to Six Sigma projects, and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor of Science (preferred) or high school diploma or GED. 3–5 years of equipment maintenance experience in a chemical manufacturing environment. Knowledge of OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) elements, including Mechanical Integrity, Management of Change, and Operating Procedures. Working knowledge of welding techniques. Experience with high‑pressure piping systems and familiarity with cryogenic pumps and systems. Basic knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and repair.
