Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to established standards and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at multiple levels; coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Collect relevant data, analyze assessments, determine diagnoses and care needs; develop and implement a care plan.
• Evaluate patient progress toward outcomes; adjust care plans as needed; ensure safe, healing environments.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team; participate in discharge planning and provide patient education.
• Document care and interventions in the appropriate health record; delegate tasks and coordinate duties within the team.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California) or as required for the assignment
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from an approved vendor
• ACLS (AHA-ACLS) or ARC-ALS certification required
• Minimum two years of recent experience in the Cath Lab or related acute care setting
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• EPIC electronic health record experience required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced Cath Lab environment; strong critical thinking and communication skills
