Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality emergency and medical-surgical nursing care across designated shifts. Ensure patient safety, stabilization, and effective communication within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions rapidly and accurately to determine appropriate care needs.
• Administer emergency medications, treatments, and interventions following established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and responses.
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families during critical situations.
• Comply with all safety and regulatory standards, including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNNC certifications.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license with current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Proven experience in Emergency Room and Medical-Surgical settings.
• Ability to manage high-pressure situations with excellent critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and patient interaction.
• Demonstrated proficiency in patient assessment, stabilization, and emergency procedures.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including 2 nights in the ER and 1 night in Medical-Surgical units.
