Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Federal Superintendent - Tucson to lead field operations for a federal VA Hospital construction project in Tucson, AZ. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a seasoned construction superintendent with deep federal project experience, strong healthcare construction knowledge, and a proven ability to manage complex site operations in occupied or mission-critical environments.

The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, government representatives, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and inspectors to deliver a high-profile federal healthcare project from mobilization through final completion. Key Responsibilities

- Direct daily field operations for a federal VA Hospital construction project, including site logistics, phasing, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination.
- Lead subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with contract requirements.
- Manage short-term and long-term project schedules while monitoring manpower, productivity, inspections, punch lists, and turnover activities.
- Maintain strict adherence to EM 385-1-1, OSHA regulations, quality standards, and project-specific safety requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and government representatives to resolve field issues and maintain project progress.
- Maintain accurate project documentation using Procore and other construction management platforms.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $150,000 to $180,000 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Location: Tucson, AZ.
