HOSPITALIST NURSE PRACTITIONER Fort Worth, TX. Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a Nurse Practitioner Hospitalist opening for a full-time opportunity in Fort Worth, TX. Expand your career by working closely with a successful group of hospitalists evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a variety of patients. Responsibilities Assist hospitalists with inpatient evaluations, histories and physical examinations (H&P’s), and follow‑up visits. Initiate appropriate treatment and testing for medical illnesses. Complete history and physical examinations on all new admissions. Round on rehabilitation patients, including long‑term acute care patients. Document using EMR system. Participate in continuous quality improvement processes. Qualifications Enjoy working Swing Shift 12pm–12am. Active listening, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, judgment, and decision making. Texas licensed Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. ACLS certification. 2 years of NP or RN experience in ICU/CVICU required. Graduate of an accredited Advanced Nursing Program. Current RN license for the State of Texas. Certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas. The NP will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.
