Supervisor, Consumables Sales

Supervise an inside sales team to ensure revenue and profit goals are met Mentor and coach an assigned team of sales representatives Sell a complete supply solution to an assigned territory Sell consultatively, detail products, and determine customer needs and requirements Prospect specific vertical markets to identify decision makers and influencers Ensure CRM utilization and accurate pipeline management Work through objections to close net new business Assist sales representatives on bid and large sales opportunities Run reports in Oracle/S21 to assist in territory management Respond to and resolve customer escalations Ensure new department hires are trained Work with Human Resources to identify and interview candidates Participate in the onboarding process Hold monthly Plan and Reviews with sales representatives on strategy Lead quarterly meetings with representatives on department revenue/gross profit attainment Lead, motivate, and manage for results Requirements Requires 5 years of related experience Management of two or more regular full-time employees Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in an Administrative/Sales environment Track record of quality and attention to detail Aptitude at leadership Demonstrates selling skills Proven customer service skills Ability to work within a professional, team-oriented environment Proficient in the entire MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Ability to train and mentor representatives on sales strategy Excellent organization and time management skills Excellent negotiation skills Strong decision-making abilities Experience using a CRM system Ability to handle escalated customer service issues Ability to present in front of groups/meetings Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Must reside in the United States at the time of hire Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred Core Competencies Demonstrates strong leadership and mentoring capabilities while effectively managing an inside sales team to achieve revenue and profit goals.
