Admissions Coordinator- Intake For Outpatient Facility - Full Time

The Admissions Coordinator (Intake) supports timely, accurate outpatient admissions by coordinating referral intake, documentation, and payer readiness at Apollo Behavioral Health Hospital (Baton Rouge, LA 70816). Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM4:30 PM. Key responsibilities include:

• Manage intake calls/referrals, complete inquiry documentation, and maintain intake logs
• Review referral packets against criteria and escalate questions appropriately
• Coordinate admission communication with physicians and the Director of Nursing
• Prepare new patient charts, face sheets, episodes of care, and insurance details
• Complete insurance verification once the physician accepts the patient
• Contribute intake metrics for QAPI reporting

Required qualifications/skills:

• 23 years psychiatric admissions experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Organized, self-directed, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Strong documentation accuracy and professional communication
