High Volume Tax Preparer – Navigate Hundreds of Individuals and Small Businesses through their Tax Filing Woes Location: Auburndale, FL (On-site, Full-Time) Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM during offseason; nights and weekends required during tax season Pay: Competitive, based on experience Ready to Put Your Tax Prep Skills to Work? We’re looking for an experienced High Volume Tax Preparer who can handle the hustle of busy season with confidence and accuracy. If you thrive under pressure, can juggle multiple returns a day, and genuinely enjoy helping clients navigate their taxes, we want to hear from you. What You’ll Be Doing: Prepare individual and business tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120S, 1065, 1120, and all schedules therein) Conduct client interviews to ensure accurate data collection and return prep Review documents for completeness and accuracy Use tax software (min. 1+ year in Drake) to complete returns efficiently Advise clients on potential tax deductions and credits Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information Manage a high daily volume of returns during peak season Are available to work extended hours and weekends during tax season Who You Are: You’ve got 5+ years of experience preparing individual tax returns (high volume strongly preferred) You’re detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment You communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully with clients from all walks of life You’re comfortable working independently but collaborate well with a team PTIN required Bonus Points If You: Speak Spanish or another second language fluently Have experience with multi-state and/or small business returns Carry an active Enrolled Agent or CPA credential Why You’ll Love Working With Us: Competitive pay + bonus opportunities Supportive team culture with ongoing training and guidance Fast-paced, rewarding environment—you’ll never be bored!
