This high-acuity, adaptable care environment unit manages telemetry, cardiac drips, high-flow oxygen, BiPAP, and advanced therapies. Nurses care for patients with rapidly changing conditions, using advanced assessment and strong clinical judgment.3 Lacks follows a nurse-directed, team-based care model with RNs, LPNs, Nurse Externs, PCAs, and Virtual RNs.
