About the Role:

The Overnight Computer Service Technician serves as a primary point of contact for IT support, managing helpdesk requests and providing hands-on technical assistance to end users. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing user accounts and access, deploying technology, and ensuring support requests are resolved efficiently and within established service levels.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide first-line support for hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues.
• Manage IT support tickets from creation through resolution, ensuring proper prioritization and SLA compliance.
• Troubleshoot computers, printers, barcode scanners, and other technology used across our stores.
• Provision, configure, and deploy computers and standard business applications.
• Create and manage user accounts, access permissions, and password resets.
• Support associate onboarding and offboarding, including provisioning and deprovisioning.
• Maintain accurate IT asset and user-device records.
• Identify recurring technical issues and recommend process improvements.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate support teams.
• Travel to individual stores to provide hands-on technical support. (25% travel)
• Perform periodic user access and system compliance audits.

What We’re Looking For:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• A high school diploma with an IT certification, or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire, will be considered.
• 1–3+ years of IT helpdesk or technical support experience.
• Experience with ticketing systems and Windows operating systems.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts including IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively organize a ticket workload.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with remote support, enterprise environments, and asset management preferred.
• A commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technology.
• Comfortable working overnight hours

Salary range: $67,000 - $75,000
