Position: Order Expeditor
Location: Anaheim, CA
Hours: 8am to 5pm
Pay rate: $22.00
We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Expeditor to support shipping, logistics, and order fulfillment operations within an electronic manufacturing environment. The Expeditor will coordinate outgoing shipments, prepare shipping documentation, obtain freight quotes, and work closely with carriers and the Sales team to ensure orders are shipped accurately and on schedule. Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate shipments through carrier shipping portals.
- Prepare pallets for shipment and properly apply Bills of Lading (BOLs) and required shipping documentation.
- Obtain freight quotes from carriers when requested by the Sales team.
- Coordinate with Sales, warehouse, production, and shipping teams to support timely order fulfillment.
- Verify shipment information, including quantities, destinations, carrier details, and shipping requirements.
- Track shipments and communicate updates or potential delays to the appropriate teams.
- Maintain accurate shipping and order records.
- Assist with resolving shipping or freight-related issues as they arise.
- Ensure shipping procedures and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
- Previous experience in expediting, logistics, order fulfillment.
- Comfortable working with carrier websites and online shipping portals.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to accurately handle shipping documents and order information.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn company-specific systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with Sales, Warehouse, Production, and transportation providers.
- Ability to prioritize multiple shipments and meet deadlines.
- Experience with electronic manufacturing or a similar manufacturing environment is a plus.
