Territory Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced Territory Manager to support an established manufacturer of building and construction products. This role will be responsible for managing an assigned territory, developing customer relationships, supporting contractors and distributors, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in building materials, roofing, construction products, distribution, or a related industry and be comfortable working directly with contractors, customers, and industry partners. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow relationships with customers, contractors, distributors, and other industry partners within the assigned territory. Identify and develop new business opportunities and sales leads. Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions. Provide technical guidance and product installation support to customers and contractors. Inspect residential and commercial projects as needed. Prepare quotes, proposals, reports, and other business documentation. Present product information and communicate key product features and benefits. Coordinate with internal teams regarding pricing, orders, production, and delivery schedules. Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively address customer needs. Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet with existing and prospective customers. Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings as needed. Support overall sales growth and market development within the assigned territory. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. Experience in building materials, roofing, construction, industrial products, or a related sales environment preferred. Strong customer relationship and business development skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Ability to work independently and manage a geographic territory. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly. Willingness to travel overnight as needed, including occasional air travel. Field-based position supporting a defined geographic territory. Frequent travel throughout the assigned market. Overnight travel required as business needs dictate. Occasional extended work hours may be required. Must be comfortable working both in office/customer environments and at residential or commercial job sites. Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
