Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional, teaching assistant, or similar support role
• Familiarity with school routines and working effectively with diverse student populations
• Strong communication skills, patience, and flexibility
• Ability to follow directions and respond to the needs of teachers and students alike
• A collaborative mindset and strong sense of responsibility

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and supporting instruction
• Provide individualized attention or small group assistance to students as needed
• Help maintain a safe, respectful classroom environment
• Support students with special needs, following individualized education plans (IEPs) as directed
• Aid with classroom organization, preparation of educational materials, and supervision during class activities, transitions, or lunch and recess periods
• Foster positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and comfort
