Job Overview Children's Specialized Hospital, part of RWJBarnabas Health, is seeking a dedicated Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Primary Care Pediatrician to join our nationally recognized team providing comprehensive, family-centered care to children with special healthcare needs. This position is located in Hamilton, NJ. Opportunity Highlights Join one of the nation's leading pediatric rehabilitation and special needs healthcare organizations Provide comprehensive primary care for children with complex medical and developmental conditions from birth through age 21 Collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team of pediatric specialists and allied health professionals Deliver preventive care, chronic disease management, acute illness treatment, and care coordination in a patient- and family-centered medical home Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development designed to enhance patient outcomes Work within New Jersey's largest integrated academic healthcare system Enjoy opportunities for professional growth, continuing medical education, and collaboration across multiple pediatric specialties Candidate Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics MD or DO from an accredited medical school Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New Jersey Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain BLS and PALS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) Strong commitment to providing compassionate, family-centered care for children with special healthcare needs Excellent communication, teamwork, and care coordination skills Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care services, including preventive care, wellness visits, and acute illness management for children with special healthcare needs Coordinate care with pediatric specialists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, comprehensive treatment Develop individualized care plans that support each patient's medical, developmental, and psychosocial needs Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with organizational standards Participate in shared call coverage to ensure continuity of patient care Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical education, and evidence-based practice Foster collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams Compensation and Benefits The anticipated salary range for this position is $200,000 to $250,000 per year. Salary offers are determined by factors such as qualifications, experience, and funding availability.
