Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Current state licensure required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred, CNOR preferred Must-Have: Epic experience required Weekend requirement: Yes Description: Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse. Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an operating room setting. Epic experience is required for this role. The nurse will assist in various surgical procedures, particularly in orthopedic trauma and craniotomy cases. Certifications in BLS are mandatory. ACLS and CNOR certifications are preferred. Call is required, including two weeknights every six weeks and one weekend every month and a half. The ability to float within the scope to meet facility needs may be required. Candidates should be prepared for a variety of cases, including trauma and complex surgeries. Strong scrub experience is preferred for this position. The nurse will be part of a dynamic team, providing quality care to a diverse patient population. Opportunities to enhance skills and further education will be available.
