Summus Healthcare and Premier Independent Physicians are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join our team. As a Practice Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an endocrinology/diabetes care practice, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational, managerial, and interpersonal skills.

This is a hands-on management position.

Duties :

• Manage all aspects of medical practice, including staff supervision, scheduling, and patient flow
• Develop and implement efficient practice management strategies to optimize productivity and profitability
• Manage all aspects of the front desk, including answering calls, scheduling appointments, and assisting patients
• Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA
• Oversee medical records management and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
• Collaborate with human resources to recruit, train, and evaluate staff members
• Monitor and manage the office budget, including expense control and revenue generation
• Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth

Skills :

• Minimum of 5 years of healthcare management experience in a primary care, internal medicine, or endocrinology outpatient office setting
• Knowledge of practice management software (e.g., eMed, Practice Fusion, Elation, eClinicalWorks)
• In-depth understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficient in medical records management and documentation standards
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a diverse team
• Proven ability to develop and implement operational strategies to drive efficiency and productivity
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
