Ashland Specialty Ingredients, GP – Wilmington, DE Position Overview The Chemical Operator will report to the Plant Manager. Responsibilities Maintain compliance with all health, safety, environmental procedures and guidelines Supervise shift operations and provide guidance to shift leads Oversee Planning and Logistics activities Manage product workflow from raw material receiving to product shipment Manage employee workflow, creating team schedules Perform all necessary SAP transactions Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent SAP experience Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills High level of mechanical aptitude Ability to record observations in written form Ability to follow and complete written directions Ability to work around strong magnets Preferred Skills GMP or Chemical Manufacturing experience Fork lift experience General Computer experience Equal Opportunity Employer Ashland is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
