Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team. In this key leadership role, you will help shape the care experience for our residents while guiding and supporting our nursing staff with professionalism, integrity, and clinical excellence. Holds a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the State of Michigan Has proven leadership experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing Possesses strong clinical skills and a restorative care approach Demonstrates knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards Excels in organization, communication, and problem-solving Summary Are you interested in a career where you are part of improving the health and quality of life of individuals? In This Role, You Will Ensure Compliance: Oversee all nursing services in accordance with company, state, and federal guidelines Lead the Team: Manage recruitment, onboarding, and performance of nursing staff Coach and Mentor: Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to improve performance and outcomes Support Direct Care: Collaborate with floor staff to maintain consistent, high-quality care Maintain Records: Monitor resident records for accuracy and appropriate documentation Develop Care Plans: Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans Provide Resources: Ensure nursing staff have timely access to equipment and necessary supplies Review Payroll: Approve payroll submissions to ensure accuracy and compliance #J-18808-Ljbffr Jimmy Jazz
