Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – PRN

We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our rehabilitation team in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting. This flexible opportunity is ideal for clinicians looking to supplement their schedule while making a meaningful impact on resident care.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of the Physical Therapist
• Assist residents with mobility training, therapeutic exercises, balance activities, and transfer techniques
• Carry out individualized treatment programs designed to improve strength, safety, and functional independence
• Monitor resident response during therapy sessions and communicate updates to the PT
• Collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to support quality resident outcomes
• Complete accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and adapt to varying caseload needs
