PRN Mobile Phlebotomist / Examiner Field-Based (Travel Required) | Flexible / Dynamic Are you a phlebotomist looking for a dynamic role that gets you out of the lab and into the community? Pay & Benefits Pay Range: $21 - $30 per hour. Salary offers are based on a range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and applicable certifications. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive an annual performance bonus. Quest Diagnostics provides a 401(k) plan with eligibility after one month and a fully vested company match up to 5% of pay. What You’ll Do Conduct exams at individuals’ homes or workplaces, taking basic vitals, recording medical histories, and performing venipunctures, urine collections, and EKGs as applicable. Accurately label, centrifuge, split, and package specimens for safe, timely transport. Travel locally to meet clients where they are, ensuring a flexible schedule while maintaining top-tier customer service. Use company technology to confirm appointments, track case status, and upload completed exams to the portal within 24–48 hours. Assist with inventory, maintain clean workspaces, dispatch calls, and occasionally mentor new team members. Qualifications & Skills To thrive in this role, you should be detail‑oriented, tech‑savvy, and value compliance, adaptability, independence, and customer satisfaction. Required Education & Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent. Active Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification based on state requirements. Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience, including at least 100 documented successful blood draws. Experience with pediatric and geriatric patients, urine collection, and EKG administration. Must have internet access, a computer, and a printer. Transportation Valid driver’s license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience. Motor vehicle record with no more than 2 moving‑violation convictions within the previous 36 months, and none in the most recent 12 months.
