We are hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a PRN position at Safire Rehab of Southtowns. Join a rehabilitation setting where you can help residents strengthen functional abilities, regain everyday skills, and work toward greater independence through individualized care.
What You'll Do

• Perform occupational therapy evaluations and establish individualized plans of care
• Deliver skilled interventions focused on daily living skills, strength, coordination, cognition, balance, and functional performance
• Establish appropriate therapy goals and track resident progress
• Recommend adaptive strategies and equipment to promote independence and safety
• Modify treatment approaches based on clinical findings and resident response
• Provide education to residents and caregivers to support continued progress
• Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation
• Coordinate with COTAs and other members of the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications

• Active New York Occupational Therapist license required
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Skilled nursing or post-acute rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
• New graduate Occupational Therapists are welcome to apply
