Maintenance Manager

Ft. Atkinson, WI (relocation allowance provided) We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance operations within a high-volume food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maximizing equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, leading the maintenance team, and ensuring safe, efficient plant operations. Key Responsibilities Lead the maintenance department, including hiring, training, coaching, performance management, scheduling, and employee development. Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs, maintenance policies, purchasing practices, inventory controls, and departmental budgets. Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of production equipment to ensure maximum uptime. Coordinate and manage outside contractors, service technicians, and OEMs when additional expertise is needed. Partner with Operations and other departments to support production goals and improve equipment performance. Provide technical guidance to production teams, helping develop operator training, SOPs, equipment care practices, and safety procedures. Support daily production start-up, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure timely repairs. Manage maintenance parts inventory and ensure critical spare parts are available. Respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as needed. Promote a safe, clean, and compliant maintenance operations. Qualifications 7–10 years of maintenance management experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably within food, meat, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or another highly regulated industry. Strong leadership experience managing maintenance teams and department budgets. Excellent troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment reliability experience. Effective communication skills with the ability to work across operations, engineering, and leadership teams. Associate degree in a mechanical or technical field, or equivalent hands‑on experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
