Maintenance Director

Oconto Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a hands-on, highly motivated Maintenance Director to join our amazing team. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring the facility remains safe, functional, and in compliance with all regulatory standards. Pay starting at $24/hr Key Responsibilities: Perform and oversee building repairs, preventative maintenance, and scheduled maintenance programs Collaborate with department heads to prepare rooms for resident admissions and discharges Ensure facility compliance with OSHA, Life Safety Code, and Department of Health regulations Manage inventory, ordering of supplies, and maintenance equipment Oversee the maintenance department’s financial and operational budgets Develop and implement workplace safety programs and procedures Qualifications: Prior experience in maintenance within healthcare or long-term carepreferred but not required In-depth knowledge of life safety codes and regulatory compliance Preferred but not required Handy man skills required for basic repairs Strong organizational, communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, resident-centered environment High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications a preferred but not required Why Join Oconto Health and Rehabilitation?
