Occupational Therapist OT PRN

The NHC HomeCare Anderson team is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to supervise and conduct occupational therapy services for patients with physical disabilities, injuries, or diseases. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program certified by the American Occupational Therapy Association. Licensed/registered under the statutes of the state where the therapist will practice. Active member of State and National Occupational Therapy Associations preferred. Specific Responsibilities Coordinating and supervising occupational therapy services. Providing occupational therapy services as ordered by the referring physician and delegating appropriate portions of the treatment program to the licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant. Instructing OT staff in delegated functions, including precautions, special problems, contraindications, anticipated progress goals, and plans for re‑evaluation. Evaluating, planning, and supervising treatments and programs, establishing short‑term and long‑term goals for patients as approved by the physician with periodic re‑evaluations. Maintaining patient care records per HomeCare agency requirements, ensuring third‑party reimbursement qualifications and all state/federal requirements are met. Consulting with family members, physicians, and other health care professionals as appropriate.
