Director Of Sales, EcoReach

Superior Energy Services is currently seeking a Director of Sales, EcoReach to join the team in Houston, TX.

Develop sales plans, activities, and campaigns and manage the day-to-day activities of business development in order to implement the organization's overall business development strategy for the EcoReach product-service line globally. Prepare sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas; and adapt procedures or re-allocate resources to improve the overall performance of the sales team. Negotiate sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organization. Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and distribution strategies for area of responsibility. The Director of Sales will also work jointly with the broader Superior business development organization to ensure effective collaboration and cross-selling efforts across all Superior customers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

• Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
• Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
• Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
• Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program.
• Directs channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
• Advises dealers, distributors, and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques.
• Represents Company at trade shows to promote EcoReach and Superior.
• Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with the broader business development and technical solutions team.
• Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
• Coordinates liaison between sales department and other functional teams.
• Analyzes and controls expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
• Assists other departments within organization to prepare manuals and technical publications.
• Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
• Ensures full awareness of, and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant company/customer HSE handbooks, HSE procedures and emergency procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• Minimum of 10 years' sales experience in oilfield services.
• 3 or more years of experience managing sales teams is preferred.
• Budgeting and understanding financial statements.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
