divh2Operator - 2nd Shift/h2pResponsible for manually operating safety door on molding machine to extract molded parts or load molding fixtures/hand loads, to produce plastic parts./ppstrongESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/strong include the following. Other duties may be assigned./pulliMust remain at machine for duration of shift as required except for scheduled break times/liliRequired to perform secondary operations on molded parts to include trimming with knives and/or clippers, use of hand or power tools to separate molded parts from hand loads/liliCapable of shutting down a machine in an emergency/liliClean all auxiliary equipment to include hoppers, grinders and dryers as needed/liliIdentify and understand material tickets/liliSafely answer alarms on the machine/liliShut off water to the mold in case of a large leak/liliCollect first shots and last shots/liliCorrectly complete Production Orders and Machine Cards/liliUse limit samples/workmanship standards properly/liliUnderstand and perform rework procedures/liliBe available to work overtime as needed./liliIf something doesnt seem quite right question it and report it to your supervisor immediately./liliTo adhere to all company policies regarding conduct, safety practices, and job performance./liliPerform other duties as assigned/li/ulpStrategic planning for the growth and success of McDonald Plastic Molding./pulliParticipate in-group and individual training./liliPerform all duties in a safe manner while supporting and encouraging the companys safety culture./liliMaintain a clean, organized and safe working environment./liliPerform all job duties with a positive, collaborative, and encouraging attitude./li/ulpstrongQualifications/strong/ppTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
