Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Attorney position located in Birmingham, MI. Insurance defense litigation, primarily in the areas of Premise Liability, No‑Fault first‑party PIP, automotive negligence and bodily injury. The Attorney will handle all phases of litigation, including legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, managing discovery processes, and participating in depositions, court hearings, and trials. Responsibilities also include negotiating settlements, advising clients, and representing them effectively in state and federal courts. You will collaborate closely with a dynamic team to ensure the delivery of high‑quality legal services aligned with the firm’s standards. Qualifications Strong legal research, analytical, and case law interpretation abilities Proficiency in drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with attention to detail Experience in litigation, including discovery management, depositions, and trial preparation Competence in negotiation and communication skills to represent clients effectively Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Licensed to practice law in Michigan; additional state or federal bar admissions are a plus Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and meet deadlines Experience in areas such as No‑Fault, premises liability, or insurance defense is preferred Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and representing clients’ interests with diligence #J-18808-Ljbffr Moffett Sims Gauthier & Willoughby, PC
