Staff Accountant

Location Cherry Hill, NJ and Stratford, NJ - 4 days in Cherry Hill and 1 day + training (2 weeks) in Stratford. Compensation $35–$38 per hour Employment Type Full Time, Temp-To-Hire Job Summary Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their growing team. This is a Full Time, Temp-to-Hire opportunity paying $35-$38 per hour based on experience. This position is fully on-site and would take place at the Cherry Hill office 4x a week and the Stratford office 1x a week. Training for this role would be for 2 weeks and take place at the Stratford location. Responsibilities Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and timely Monitor and manage accounts receivable balances and collections Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Review and reconcile credit card transactions and expense reports Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation Assist with month-end close and reporting processes Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams regarding accounting matters Support general ledger activity, bookkeeping tasks, and additional accounting functions as needed Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required) Minimum of 2+ years of accounting experience (no entry-level candidates) MUST have a minimum of 2 years experience with QuickBooks Strong experience with accounts receivable and reconciliations Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication and problem-solving skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
