About the Opportunity A fast-growing fintech company serving the alternative investment industry is seeking an Operations Associate to join its implementation and client operations team. This is a highly visible, client-facing role responsible for leading complex client migrations, onboarding investment firms onto a modern technology platform, and ensuring a seamless implementation experience. This position offers a unique blend of fund operations, client success, project management, and technology, making it an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to move beyond traditional fund accounting into a more strategic, high-impact role. Responsibilities Lead client implementation projects from contract execution through successful platform launch. Manage complex data migrations from legacy systems while ensuring data integrity and operational accuracy. Partner closely with clients, fund accountants, and engineering teams throughout the implementation process. Perform detailed reconciliations and quality control across historical financial reporting periods. Identify operational issues, troubleshoot discrepancies, and recommend process improvements. Support client onboarding, account management, and ongoing operational success. Develop and enhance implementation processes, documentation, and best practices. Collaborate cross-functionally to improve workflows and help drive enhancements to the firm's technology platform. Deliver an exceptional client experience throughout every stage of implementation. Qualifications 1–7 years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, investment operations, or alternative investment operations. Strong understanding of private equity, venture capital, private credit, or other alternative investment fund structures. Experience with capital calls, distributions, NAV calculations, investor reporting, and fund financial statements. Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives. Strong communication and client relationship management abilities. Self-motivated with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. CPA is a plus but not required.
