Through a robust stakeholder feedback loop and supported by consistent processes and leadership, we take pride in delivering responsive, fair and professional service with empathy and efficiency.How you will create an impactYou will be responsible for handling all aspects of complex Employment Practice Liability claims, with opportunity to handle Directors & Officers Lability, from inception through conclusion brought against privately held and not-for-profit insureds. Making coverage determinations, investigating losses, evaluating, and projecting potential exposuresMaking case presentations, setting judgmental reserves, developing, and implementing resolution strategiesWorking with defense counsel, collaborating with underwriting and delivering differentiated value and service to our customers and distribution partners.What you'll need to succeedA minimum of six or more years of experience handling complex insurance claims, litigation or other related experience. Excellent negotiation skills Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skillsKnowledge of the litigation and arbitration processJuris Doctor is preferredFor positions based in New York, NY, the base salary range is $120,000-$150,000. For positions based in Illinois, the base salary range is $120,000-$150,000. The position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
