About the Role
The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing key customer accounts, serving as a primary liaison between the company and its clients. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams (operations, production, engineering) to deliver outstanding service and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned key accounts
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and help drive upselling/cross-selling strategies
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure successful order fulfillment and issue resolution
- Monitor account performance, margins, and contract terms to ensure profitability
- Prepare account reviews, usage reports, and customer feedback analysis
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, requests, and escalations with a sense of urgency
- Travel as needed (approximately 10-15%) to client sites for relationship management or issue resolution
- 5+ years of B2B account management experience, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or related fields
- Proven track record of managing large accounts and maintaining high client satisfaction
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (production, engineering, operations, customer service)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to understand technical products and translate customer needs into solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
