Ortho and Neuro Operating Room Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Varied schedule including weekends and weeknight on-call shifts. 4x10 hour shifts with weekend on-call every 4-5th weekend and 1 weeknight on-call per week.

We are seeking an experienced Ortho and Neuro Operating Room Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in both orthopedic and neurological surgical procedures, particularly in a Level 1 or 2 trauma center setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing orthopedic and neurological surgeries.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals in the operating room.
• Monitor patient vitals and surgical sites during and after procedures.
• Adhere to hospital and departmental policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Participate in continuing education and training to maintain competency in advanced surgical techniques.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of OR experience with a focus on ortho and neuro surgeries.
• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
