Orthopedic Medical Assistant

What You’ll Do As an Orthopedic Medical Assistant at OrthoAtlanta, you’ll: Guiding Patients : Escort patients to exam rooms, assist with dressing/undressing, and ensure comfort and privacy Gathering Information : Accurately review patient registration details, collect necessary forms, and complete EMR intake documentation Coordinating Care : Prepare surgical orders, schedule lab tests and diagnostic procedures, obtain test results, and manage medical clearances for surgeries Communication and Follow-Up : Manage patient callbacks regarding messages, prescriptions, and referrals; monitor and respond to physician queues DME Support : Demonstrate proper fitting and usage of durable medical equipment (DME) like braces and soft goods when needed A Great Fit If You… Are highly organized and detailed, ensuring every patient interaction is smooth and thorough Stay calm and efficient in a busy, high-energy clinic setting Communicate with professionalism, empathy, and clarity Love being part of a collaborative healthcare team What You’ll Need High school diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or Certified Ortho Tech program (or equivalent experience) 1+ year of medical office experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
