Accounts Payable Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the management and processing of the company's financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Lotus Concepts Management oversees two different restaurants and is continually growing, so we are looking for a candidate that also wants to grow within the company as well. Key Responsibilities Process and review incoming invoices, ensuring proper approval and accurate coding. Prepare and process payments, including checks and electronic transfers. Maintain and update vendor information, ensuring accuracy in accounts. Reconcile accounts payable ledgers and resolve discrepancies. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes. Support the preparation of reports related to accounts payable. Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve any payment-related issues. Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation. Perform general office duties such as filing and data entry. Qualifications 1-2 years experience in accounting or related roles is a plus Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent work experience Understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Quickbooks accounting software required.
