Senior Reliability Test Engineer - Environmental Simulation Lab

Eurofins seeks a Senior Reliability Test Engineer to manage environmental simulation testing operations in Santa Clara. The role involves developing and executing test plans, maintaining complex lab equipment, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with customers and internal teams in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain environmental testing equipment including thermal chambers and vibration tables
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, calibration issues, and test anomalies to minimize downtime
• Develop test plans, execute tests, analyze data, and prepare engineering reports per standards
• Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions using quality methodologies
• Train lab personnel on equipment operation, test setup, and troubleshooting techniques

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Materials Science
• 10+ years environmental testing, sustaining, or reliability engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with climatic, mechanical, and corrosion test equipment
• Knowledge of data acquisition tools such as LabVIEW, MATLAB, Minitab, or Python
• Familiarity with failure analysis, predictive maintenance, and statistical process control
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship

Compensation: $40–$55 per hour
