About the Role
The Company is in search of an Associate General Counsel, Commercial to join its mission of transforming connectivity for modern business. This founding legal role is pivotal in the company's commercial operations, with a focus on making the internet as accessible and reliable as any other utility. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end commercial contracting process, including the drafting and negotiation of a variety of agreements such as enterprise sales, SLAs, channel and partner contracts, real estate licenses, and supply chain agreements. Additionally, the role involves building the legal infrastructure to support the company's growth and expansion. The ideal candidate for this role at the company is a skilled dealmaker and pragmatic drafter, with the ability to manage complex negotiations and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. A J.D. from a top law school, in-house regulatory work experience, and membership in good standing with at least one state bar are required. This is a unique opportunity to shape the commercial legal function and play a key role in scaling a business that is redefining enterprise connectivity. The role demands a proactive and strategic approach to legal matters, with a strong emphasis on supporting the company's growth and expansion in the commercial sector.
